The best way is to invite the people outside to sit in your car if you want them to hear your bass.

No, and yes.

Sound deadening will help to eliminate rattling, and help to keep more bass inside the vehicle. Forget about people outside the car. They will hear your bass if you turn it up loud. You should be more concerned about keeping as much of the bass inside the car for yourself and trying to get rid of annoying rattles.

..............sigh, no dynamatt will keep people from hearing you outside the car..............which is good thing.........Posers show loud, pimps play loud. AND if they are TRULY pimp you dont know that they have a system until they open their doors. Dynamat helps with mid bass response and helps reduce rattles. (well applied anyway)

The way I see it is the more bass people hear outside of the car means the more bass that is escaping the cab which means less bass for you to hear inside the car.

Even with deadening if you have a decent woofer people are going to feel the bass when you pull next to a stoplight or whatever.

People always try to talk down on my car because they can't hear a thing unless I have my window or door open. I pull up to a stop light and if I'm jamming (which is rare at a stop light) I have to have my window open for people to even notice me. That is good cuz almost all of the bass is staying it the vehichle

I know, i know, but come on lets elevate this forum. Look dude, posers want to be heard from blocks away. True audio nuts want people inside their whips to be impressed. People outside should envy the folks inside. Let them know that when you open your door, not when you drive by. Reason being that loud *** bass 1) sounds like shit outside the car. 2)Its a fine way to get noise laws passed on the rest of us. Dont be a poser, be a pimp and do it right.

He should be flamed for being self-centered, rude, and inconsiderate. Keep your sounds in your vehicle. When I come to a stoplight I turn my system down. When I roll into a residential area or an apartment complex at low speeds the volume is already down. No one wants to hear your system. If you want to impress someone, go to the local Walmart parking lot far from everyone else and invite the person to sit in your vehicle.

My is deadened, although I still find more rattles all the time. It's hard to tell I have a system in my vehicle until you stick your head inside. Just outside of the vehicle you can barely hear the bass. Furthermore having dark tinted windows also helps people from seeing inside. Keeping the fact that you have a system in your vehicle hidden prevents people from stealing your equipment. I've had a system in my truck since I got it in 1999. Eight years later and not a single break-in.

I can pull up next to cops with my music turned up to 20 (22 is usually the loudest I go) and not worry about sound ordinance tickets. I'm wangin' on the inside, but the outside world doesn't know.

Less Rattles + More sound staying in the car = Sound deadener FTMF.

It to me is audio eddiquit. If you are at a stop light turn yo system down. Those folks dont give a crap if you have 160+ killing the comp.....they just want to get to the bank or whatever. You hobby should never bother other people. Those who blast at stop lights want their Epenis rubbed. Be better than that. Be the elite. I love my system and i blow it to the max in the autobahn, but if you want to be the loudest on the block take it on your terms, dont be that annoying 16 year old thumping because he thinks it looks cool. All the real system bangers laugh at that shit.
