Making Kick panels, will this work?

Getting ready to install a system in my new truck.

How would I be if I used a set of these to mount some nice 6.5's in the kicks?

I would deaden the inside of them as well as reinforce the kick panel.

How does the airspace look/

They are 4" on one side and 2' on the other.

The tweeters would be in pods on the dash
