making buss bar- help

i am going to make a buss bar for my batteriesand can't seem to find copper flat bar locally

but can find aluminum and steele every where

will either of these work good or should i

hold out til i find copper.
aluminum will work better than steel. I found some copper on ebay for cheap it was 6" wide X 24" long X 1/4" thick. It was weathered copper but I just sanded it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

yep copper is expensive //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
It sure is. That's why people are ripping down power lines in the middle of the night in my county. Selling the copper for crack. It was on the news and everything! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

same as Hawaii we have miles and miles of darkend freeways due to crackheads posing as highway maintance workers by day. Every time the state replaces the cooper someone returns in couple days to steal the cooper again so thats our problem.
