That is the life.
I was talking to my professor about it....He said he works about 20 hours a week during the school semester and about 10-20 during the summer. You need about 3 pubs/yr or so and you are good.

I really would like to teach finance though. It would be the best job in the world.

I say work at it man! What he didn't mention were the other "perks" - paid sabbaticals, "research" grants, young poon looking for good marks, nearly impossible to lose your tenure. Then when you "retire", you can come back to perform more "research" while pulling in your six figures AND your pension.
