Alpine amps are underrated i hear, excellent sound, and never overheat.

Thats actaully a tough pick...I said Fosgate but I am really disappointed in the last few years with thier stuff....ALPINE is my "SQ in my Benz" choice..but I think Audiobahn amps are good deals for mainstream "every day joe" choice.!!

I totaly agree, i heard one alpine amp in my freinds car that ran to 10"s and i think that they sounded very clean. he did a great instal as well. i thought this poll would help just the avrage joe, who goes to the "car stereo store" and picks somthing up. I really like the older Rf amps. but i hear that the person who degined the Old rf went to phonix Gold. just words on the grape vine out here in napa (heheh)

I didnt put Jl audio, because it would blow away the comp, and they are a little "harder" to find. Just like hifonics, and arc audio... Btw does anyone know where i can look at those amps Arc, and Hyfonics?

I disagree. JL amps aren't anything special IMO. I'd take RF over JL any day.

I think it's a creative poll...PERSONALLY an Amp maker I like alot and it is Mainstream is MTX..I think they have some quality stuff, Affordable yet it has become quite mainstream....ARC amps are tough to find..But here is thier Website and they have a DEALER LOCATOR SECTION..just click on your state and KAZAMM: there you go!!!

P.S..Squeak is right JL is the "Quality" company for "mainstream" buyers..nothing Wrong with JL but they sure as hell have cashed in on HYPE rather than real world proof.

No doubt they are over hyped, but i really do like the 1000.5. with space for 4 speaks, and 1 sub. its a great concept for some one who wants to run a very nice sounding system, with not having to do alot of work, 1 amp, 1 sub, and 4 mids.

Oh, and for you nay sayers aobout JL, their amp puts out the rated power at any input voltage, it's impecably clean in terms of sq, I could go on.

Oh, and I put JBL because their amps are very efficient, yet can be had for nothing. Very good if you're on a budget.

That's called a regulated power supply......not a new concept by any stretch of the imagination. Has it's benefits and has it's disadvantages just like anything else. Again, JL amps are nothing special and definitely wouldn't "kill" the competition.

I couldn't be happier with my alpine it is VERY clean and strong runs my highs and mids very well, although it is proabaly going to be relagated to the sons cherokee when i get my ID's cause they or gonna get either a linear power or Orion havn't decided yet and am still on the fence
