magnet came off speaker!!!!

i have a 10" couctic cf1044 and the magnet has came apart. when i put it bac on it sounded like something was loose inside the sub. what can i do?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

 
throw it away and get a real sub....i mean that tells you those little asian kids that built that sub was not fed that day.....poor workmanship=poor product=falling apart...

 
nope... but you can see the coil when the magnet is off... nothing is busted because whe i first put the magnet back on it played ok. The magnet moved a little and sub was playin like something was in it and was like the coil was sticking to the magnet or something

You have no choice but to plug that sub into the wall. When you do this, you can charge the magnet back up and it will stick to your sub again.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

x2 i had to do that with my tc 5200

 
so how do i do that
get a multi socket outlet with the on off swith run speaker wire from it to the sub plug it into the multi socket outlet plug the multi socket in flip the on switch and let it re magnitize to the basket

Id seal the bolt hole up with Silicone and maybe look into placing some Poly Fill inside the Plastic enclosure and mount the new sub and run it...

Technically this probably can be repaired but working with magnets like that isn't really a DIY job and I can't see how you could get them on and...

Glad they stepped up and replaced it! I honestly would have thought it was super petty if they didn’t just swap it out for you still being under...

1/2 inch slugs? That would give you the same ferrite as a double stack 3/4 slug that most people use.
