Wait now people are comparing the MJ to the Mag. Why does everyone have to hate on it then? I havent heard one yet, but will be ordering one next week for a local install. Can have results then if you havent made your purchase.

hate on what? As far as i know both drivers are loved by all their owners. I love the Mj when i had it. And i have yet to hook up my mag so i can't tell you. But you do have an advantage as far as all that cone area with the MJ

Not recently, I just remember reading a lot of threads about people comparing them and people just hated on them all together. This was a little while ago when they first came around......

i just dont know if 400 ish watts each sealed will get as loud or as low as a single mag with over 1500 watts on it ported...i wish ROE worked on my computer for some reason it doesnt...theres a kid on there with 2 MJ18's sealed with like 500 watts each on them id love to hear from him.

I had to take a part a crushed MJ (love customs) and the fit and finish of the build is very good. Quality coil too.

right..im not looking for anything near the realm of ultimate SQ...more or less a loud daily that sounds nice

i think im gonna do it....free shipping FTW so i just need $232 for the sub....

what size should i look at for the box? realistically biggest i can do is 42" Wide x 20 something tall and 20 something deep....so up to like 11 cubes...i dont think it needs to be anywhere near that though...

This is very good to read, makes me feel much better about this driver. I supported it early on but it seemed like people were shutting it down. MJ ftw!

Sealed, mine did fine on 450. I have the 8 ohm model, so I did not have much power options, put the 2500D on it for a while and it did very well.
