Mag or ID max? Or something else?

Hard choice, but I will go with the Max for sq though, great efficiency, you don't need to throw 1000 watts to the max to get it moving. "IMO" the mag sounds non-linear when pushed, or maybe its just me.

I would go with IDmax. Thats the only sub outta the 2 that I've heard. That was in my roommates ext cab chev. 2 10" idmax running sealed with a hifonics 1600w amp on them. They got loud and dropped looow. I was impressed. BUT they got jacked about 2 months ago so now he has 4 clarion 12s sealed and he says that the IDs sounded a lot BETTER and LOUDER... I've had dreams of running 4 12" idmaxs ported with my kx2500.1 but with their price tags I can't really do it

i got an idmax getting 900+-, i beat the snot outta it daily and its doing ok.. i love the way it sounds. its in a 2.5 cube @ 28hz. plays the lows well, great volume. wish i could get a second one but i dont got the space for it.

I'm sure the IDmax sounds great, but the Mag can take much more of a beating and is known to sound great as well.

if you can a 15 or 12 for same price get the 15.

i love my mag. trying to rationalize getting another

Oh yeah the mag can get lots of loud and handle a lot of good power.

I had both and chose the MAG. I LOVED it ported in a nice big box.. was ok sealed...

I had both and chose the IDmax. IMO the mag was too warm for my tastes. but still a good sub.
