For a PAIR of Mags you need an amp that does full power at 2 ohms. The Tsunami and BX1500D do max power at 1 ohm. You could go for any of the following setups:

Rockford BD1500 (ebay)

MTX 1501D (ebay)

2x HiFonics BX1000D (ebay)

2x Soundstream Rubicon 1000-2 (millionbuy.com)

There are more combos... but those are the best off the top of my head for price/performance.

the tsunami 1800 will match perfectly...it DOES do full power (1800 watts rms) @ 2 OHMS!! the tsunami 1100 although does full power @1ohm......so the tsunami 1800 would be a great choice and one of the least expensive choices with a great amount of power. that would be my choice. peace

tsunami 1800t isnt that amp do 2 ohms and have 900x1.. so 900 watts to each sub correct?

I suggest what Sundownz recommended. For a pair of Magnum's, you're going to end up with a 2 Ohm load mono. The easiest way to go would be the MTX amp (no distro blocks to seperate the power, no extra RCA's for the other amp, etc).

I'm unsure about the Tsunami amp (1800). I've never looked into them, so I don't know their mono impedance rating for max RMS power.

**edit: I just checked, and the Tsunami DB-1800T does do 1800 watts RMS into 2 Ohm mono.

Try a Phoenix Gold Tantrum 1200.1 1400 watts at 2ohms and 1200 watts at 4 ohms.

i was just going to recommend that. they can be had for a great price on ebay. Like 320+shipping. They will put out 1400+ watts at 2-4 ohms. its a sweet amp. D2 is an efficient driver. They rate it at 600rms because thats all it needs to perform to its fullest, it can just get even louder and handle more power fine.
