ok, u guys finally got me.. i changed my mind.. i wanted 12w6v2's and now im fianlly decided to get the D2's never heard of them i hope there better and sound great or ill kill myself hehe... now enough of the d2 talk and where do i go to buy 2 of these 12's and read about em. i wanna see the price on 2 and order.. RMS for the D2's is 600 watts.

as for amps... i would personally chose to get 2 1000 watt amps for them. the mags will handle the power easily, and then if you wanna have fun you have the extra juice. i cant think of any good amps right off the top of my head, but im sure someone can easily name off a few good ones. i bet if you even ask nick at SI real nice he might have a few suggestions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif .

running that much power you are going to have to upgrade your electrical system...

try looking at an amp that does ~1200-1500 watts @ 2ohms and then put the magnums in a ported box.

what vehicle is this going in?

You might want to scale down to the BX 1000D's. 1000 watts per driver is more than enough power. I also recommend the 2 cube boxes tuned to 29 Hz (that volume is after port and driver displacement)

i changed my mind i just edited it... 1 of those amps so its not that bad... hows that sound.. subs are 600RMS... that leaves that amp with 200 watts to run around.. just throw those in about so like 700watts to each.... its a 1995 Chevy s10 Ext cab.. http://www.pbase.com/gcafes/mikeschevy eheheh they guy i boight it from owned his own machanical buisness and he redid alot under the hood but i dunt kno what he did... check out my truck. but what about one of those amps to run both sound?

well remember with 2 of these subs, your final impedance will be 2 ohms...so the amp is gonna have to put out ~1000 watts @ 2ohms, which is not the case with either hifonics amp.

you should also check on the size of the alternator under your hood.
