Maybe i could squeeze too FI Q 10's in there, it says they can be in a ported box as little as .5cf.
Rated at 1200, benching about 1200 in a real world application. Not the cleanest power in the world either.
Ported, I think an MD2 would fare a little better.
If you have balenced inputs you dont have that problem. If you do have the problem you can ground the RCA internally. Something US amps should have done at the factory but isnt a big deal. I ran a BX1205D, Nine.1, and MD2 all on the same exact set up. The MD2 was by far the cleanest sounding. Kinda sucks for Hifonics and eD when you can notice even order distortion with bass below 60Hz. Between the BX1205D and the Nine.1 I would run the 1205D.Cool...I disagree whole heartedly.
Maybe this is a question for Flakko, but why sell an amp that has a problem with input noise? Why not recall and fix the problem? US Amps FTL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

So you can tell the different between two amps (MD2 and 9.1) rated 300rms difference with nother amps less then 1% distortion at said power?
Then you perfer an amp that makes its power 10% distortion(1205d) to the same amp above of 1200rms @
I agree, this is the first time someone has recomended me a hifonics over an ed nine.1

Where are the two amps rated 300w different? In fact. I had the MD2 at 4ohm. In reality, the Nine.1 DOES NOT DO 1500w WITH ANY SORT OF LOW DISTORTION FIGURE...IF IT WILL DO IT AT ALL.
Neither amp (Nine.1 or BX1205D) sounded peachy when compared to the MD2's sound quality. And neither got noticeably louder...not just to me, to friends as well. Granted the MD2 was slightly quieter...but not by a whole lot. Pretty sad for both of the above mentioned amps
And I dont reccomend hifonics over the nine.1...but if it wast one of thoes options or none at all I would choose the BX1205D. Where did you get 10% from? Pulling figures out of your ***.
I probly typed that wrong. My question was basically asking if you could tell the difference in distortion between the MD2 and 9.1, even though they were 300rms difference. I also was asking if you could tell a level difference between the 300watts.Where are the two amps rated 300w different? In fact. I had the MD2 at 4ohm. Not out of my ***...DO a search on here. I've seen many of the bench tests from the BX line. Most did its rated power with 10% distortion.Neither amp (Nine.1 or BX1205D) sounded peachy when compared to the MD2's sound quality.
