nothing wrong with that amp. it sounds fine u would be hard pressed to find a problem with it other than price. as far as the headuint i would look at the deh-80prs for a good active capable deck with a good eq. the sub is fine though i would rather an sundown sa based purely on the fact that it can sound just a good as the id and still have the ability to get loud. jacob himself has posted info to back this up

Why? I only have space for an amp 13"x9.5". I looked into the rockford p1000x5d but thought the alpine was better, and the jl hd is waaaay too expensive...

I dont like the look of the pioneer or how I would you have to work so much to get anywhere opposed to the alpine which is just the push of a button. Plus the used alpine is around $200 where the pioneer is like $370 The sub I went with ID because of what I read plus the fact I already have ID comps...I know a little weird but thats me lol

I know someone selling one just waiting on a price. I am not limited to that alpine I was originally looking new at a hd138bt but if I can save money to around $200ish then who knows...

The Alpine is a pain to operate where as the pioneer is much more user friendly I have used both.

^I see it completely opposite. When I want to tune into 97.1 the ticket I just push the #1 preset...With the pioneer I have to push the knob then scroll to the preset then push the knob again all while driving...

Just sharing im running a Alpine HU and I love it also today I found a MTX 12" woofer that I had in my RX7 but the voice coil messed up well I found the same speaker on CL for $45.00 dollars I know it's going to sound much better than my Kicker im using now.

I can't wait to see the guy later today this speaker is super heavy the model is 7000 look on CL for stuff as well you might get lucky. I hope it all works out for you.
