Made my first enclosure over the week.

But the box is a sealed enclosure, Is this port just a hole in the box?? you got pics?? As you can see I am new to this //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

dont listen to that guy, hes retarded as hell. they are not designed for high notes, nor would it help your box if u only made room for sealed. what an aero port actually is, is a VERY smooth pvc pipe that is fitted with a flared end at each end. works very well for competition setups.

Got ya, I thought they were jsut called vented box or something. My box is exactly 1 cb ft. I am getting sub Thursday ajd see how it sounds.
please do not just "add" an aeroport. if u do go ported they are a great option, and do help output in most cases over slot. BUT do not just "add them" to a sealed box, go back and rework ur plans, or get in touch with me to do so..

Thanks, I appreciate the help, calm down guys it the Holidays, do this Next Monday. I didnt want to build a ported box due to the size of them. In the near future I will buy a treo sub and see what kind of ported box I can build. I dont want a monstor box in my trunk for jsut a 12in sub.

thanks

Ralph
