Made a big mistake alpine 9857

I ordered an alpine 9857 and payed $302 shipped.

After reading all the posts i realize i made a huge mistake and itll be here on friday im gonna send it right back .

I was a big alpine fan had a 7844 was a great HU back in the day but it finally blew up . So ill be without sounds till i get a refund - return shipping.

So what should i get at that price with shipping that will be a better HU?

I want it to sound great and play music.

And have control over my settings.

Im just didnt read the new specs on it (what a moron)

I seen the glide touch was gone and just assummed .

But after reading the lost features and the quality went downhill i dont want this garbage.

Is the Pioneer Premier DEH-P880PRS hd radio ready ?

Im not sure about this one im gonna order something today tho i had them put a stop on delivery of the alpine.

Is the Eclipes cd4000 equal to this model?

wow just called my local shop he has the 880 for $499

Said he installed one for a freind yesturday and its insane .

Also said the auto eq feature was excellent
