Macthing amp rms and sub rms

Hi, I just recently purchased a 12" sub by pioneer the TSW307D4. It puts out 400rms at 2 ohms, I know alot of people on here say that you want to match your subs rms with your amps, but i find it really difficult to find amps that are giving out 400rms at 2 ohms, most of them are 360 or 300rms. Would 360 be ok or not enough? Im not made of money, Im looking for something in the low $200's Thanks so much

ok, but as for the fact about macthing the amp and sub rms. Is it ok if the amps rms is around 40 less than the subs?

shouldnt really be a problem but are you sure your amp is putting out the rms it states?

doesn't really matter if the amp RMS doesn't match the sub's RMS. Just run what you got

Speakers do not put out power, they absorb and dissipate it
