Mach5Audio IXL-12.2.2

The 1000 watt amp I saw in action (to me) was not putting out 1000 watts. I did not have any measurement tools with me at the time, but I felt I didn't require any.

can i do it sealed with 2cu^ft? tuned to what? im going to lose a lot of low end compared to vented correct?
you will gain low end below what you would normally tune at, if you like bass cd's and slowed and chopped bizness, you will have more output with a sealed box at the lowest octaves. POrted boxes roll off below the tuning frequency, some subs seem to play a lower than the box tuning, DD and AQ however the suspension has to be uber stiff to not unload entirely on these low notes.

im goin ported with 2 cu^ft. just not sure if i want the mach or mtx? i didnt realize i could get the 9512 for $20 less than the mach...

is this sub better ported or sealed? with sealed i could go with a smaller box and since its going into a mustang, the smaller the better. how big sealed and tuned to what??

Depends on what you're after and what you are willing to give up. You're the boss of your car - no one can (or should) tell you what you *need* to do. If you want some potentially serious output, go with a ported box; otherwise save the space and do sealed.
