mach MJ 18 or Fi SSD 18

I was a couple of minutes away from getting the MJ18 and then I decided to check out FI. All I heard about was the BTL and I knew that I couldn't afford that but I still went to the website. I saw the SSD in an 18 and it was within a reasonable price. So here's the question.....which one would give me a better SQL sound. I already have a box built and it is 6 cu ft tuned to 32Hz. I have a couple of swiss audio amps. one powers 600RMS @ 4 ohms (for MJ18) and one powers 1000RMS @2 ohms (FI SSD). I was looking into the Q but I'm definately on a budget. Staying $250 and under.

The MJ18 is not a loud woofer. It gets decently loud, as in I went from an MJ18 sealed on 600w to a Treo TSX 12 ported on 800w, and the Treo is slightly louder. The MJ sounds amazing, though. It's probably my favorite woofer I've ever listened to.

The SSD, I've heard, sounds great, and I'd imagine it gets louder. You just have to decide if its worth twice as much as the MJ to you.

imo the price difference isn't worth it.

um the MJ-18 gets a LOT louder ported that it dos sealed

I tried it sealed the SQ was a 10 but wen I ported it it was like I had 3 in my trunk
