SWINE FLU!!!!
for something like that, just do it yourself. since you're selling it it's not like you care how long it will last. go buy some duraglass and a gallon of bondo. have a GOOD bodyshop colormatch your paint, and just do it in like a day. then sell it, and by the time the bondo starts to shrink or the paint starts to age different, it will be out of your hands.I'm thinking of selling my car and have some damage done on my passenger door... It won't even close completly right because of the damage (pushed in) and there's a long scratch that's looking bad on it... Would Maaco be a good place for something like this, keep in mind that I'm selling my car so it has to look good enough to sell but can't be so expensive that I won't even earn money on selling my car. My car's also a 2002 Maxima if that matters...
as for the original question at hand, no maaco is not good. even their best option is still mediocre at best, and since you're already paying in the 1k range, find a decent body shop to do it for you for around the same price.
