can it be ran at 1 ohm?

im thinkin about pickin one up along with a RE HC15.

I got the hk4000 good *** amp...but It needs power!! idk about the 1000d

They will run at 1 ohm if and only if modded to do so. They are overrated. They need alot of power meaning at least a constant 14.4v, or more, to put out any kind of power but because the amps are incredibly inefficient it is almost impossible to give the amp a constant 14v. Now if you are running a 16v setup than this amp would do pretty well.

But i said it in the other thread also get the AQ1200 and call it a day. They put out 13-1500 rms @ a 1 ohm stable load goes for 250 shipped BNIB with warranty. It puts out more power while draining less power from your electrical system.
