MA Audio or Massive Audio?

I have 2 Massive Audio CW 15's that I enjoy, another brand I consider pretty dang good for the money I spent. Sure there is better, but when you're on a budget Massive is just fine.

I tend to avoid MA audio, I don't have a particular reason per se, they just seem a cut above owning audiobahn personally. Sure there is the HK4000d or whatever, but the style, not as good efficiency kind of turns me off. Those are my biases, which could be wrong, but their there.

What are YOU wanting tho? subs? amp?

Cool thing about the 4000D though is the power supply. Really the only thing it has going for it...i believe it can take up to 17V...

Yeah, I mean i've seen alot of ppl running them, but it just doesn't attract me like other amps do. It's neat it can be modded to do things like 17v, or iirc ppl doing .7ohm (daily or burp i forget).

But I still lean away from that as much as possible.

Im looking into the subs... MA a cheap brand? there website and specs dont look that cheap, what are the quality parts that I should look for in a good subwoofer? (ex. spider, etc etc) anything but paper cone.... lol

only bad thing about them is to get close to the power they are rated at you HAVE to run 17volts to them. nice amps tho

ma is alright for starters, and their amps can cook bacon & eggs on

massive is WAY higher quality, and are like ... um, air conditioners?

ok bad comparison, you get my point though

im poor.. LOL just need something that will sound like I really got something good, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif at least 600-800 rms. what others brands do you recommend?

Massive is way better than MA audio. Oddly enough, their prices are similar in some of the equipment.

Massive subs are great buys and well designed. I still dont know why to this day it never became a forum boner. Maybe its because they never gave out t-shirts or something //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Decent budget amps I would look into Hifonics, powerbass, planet audio, those brands. MA will do the trick, and its cheap power also but less efficient. I mean its not like any of these I mentioned are HIGHLY efficient, but their decent.

Idk much about massive amps, but I personally would try one if I needed some cheap power. Phoenix gold has some relatively cheap amps.

Try looking into Hifonics though, its got a relatively good reputation as cheap reliable power.
