I have a never used MA Audio HK 18 that I am going to strip down and part out. The motor is heavy azz, takes a 4" coil. The basket is a 6 spoke 18" basket that is chromed.

If its new, and never been used... why would you tear out the softparts ??

How much for the sub unmolested ?

It is new and never used....

The softparts are what hold this sub back. The motor is capable, but the softparts will only take maybe 1500-2000 rms, and 5k burps.

I had it listed for $400 plus shipping or shipped, can't remember.....but selling it in pieces is a lot cheaper for shipping. So essentially I would make the same either way. Lots of people look for a strong motor, and this is it.....and nice basket too.

Not if they have to be cut out to remove the basket from the motor. I doubt I will be able to salvage the surround/spiders.....But the cone/coil will be in great shape.

well, i'll keep an eye if ebay doesn't pan out....... the spiders aren't a biggie, but the surround can be salvaged of you are good with a chisel/scraper. i've also separated at the cone before, but i think the hk is stitched,,,,
