I was looking at them to, untill I managed to buy an MTX 600.1 for 140 US Dollars on ebay. Both of those amps are much cheaper on ebay, like $120 a piece.

For that price you can get the Kenwood 9152D or the X-811D on ebay both better amps that those you show here.

Have you ever tested that exact amp? The 1889i is rated at 400 x 1 @ 4 ohms. We had one tested at our local shop and it did 456 watts @ 14.4v. So yes, it is a great buy for the money.

Just remember that its rated at 800 watts MAX x 1 @ 2 ohms. I'm guessing it should do around 600 watts.
