MA Audio HK1998

I have search but did not find a direct answer so i'm asking it here...

This page on ebay has the HK1998 to be stable down to 1 ohm mono...a few other places on ebay says its only stable down to 2 ohms mono...

anyone know the real answer?

MA's web site is dead so no help there...

From the searching i've done on here, seems like this is a decent amp for the money...anyone want to say otherwise?

I have this amp..never tried it at 1 ohm but from what the spec sheet says its only stable down to 2ohms. If you give me till tomorrow I can test it and see if it will go down to 1ohm. For the money its a pretty good amp.

hey thanks for the reply...

after doing some research, it "seems" like there is two models...

the AB model, and the D model or something like that...

seems like the D model is 2 ohm stable and the AB is 1 ohm stable...
