MA Audio HK 4000D's Modified....

I am looking to sell my pair of HK 4000D's from MA Audio. These amps have been modified and will do .7 ohms for daily and .5 for burps and will put out over 4000 Watts RMS. I have all the original papers and boxes for these amps. These amps are in perfect condition both cosmetically and functionally.

Who did the modding on the amp? Any pics of said mods by chance? Will they truly run 1 ohm daily? I've heard some mixed stuff about modding them and running them at 1 ohm or lower daily.

these amps were modded by a man named Jered Horten in New York, the original owner. There is no pics of the mod process as far as I know. These amps will definately run 1 ohms daily. I had one hooked up in my car for several month running at .7 ohms and it did not fail or strain at all. these amps are however heavy current hogs and you need to add a second battery to support them.

I would not run them at .5 ohms for daily but it is ok to burp them at .5 ohms. I would say for not more than like 10 to 20 mins of continuous play time at .5 ohms but .7 and higher is fine.
