Yeah I seen the higher RMS at 17v. How can I get this? What are the HK1000d an 1998 like??

Seperate electrical system to get the 17 volts.

yeah they rate there bigger amps at 17 volts

if the 1000D is anything like the 4000D its a great solid amp. it wont pull near as much current so it might be a little more friendly to the electrical system. but overall im sure its just as solid as the 4000D

Do you think its underpower, over, or accurate? How can I seperate the electrical system?

i would have to say its very close to its rated power. never tested one so i couldnt say exactly.

How could I get the 18v???? Does it have a switch for 14 or 18?

My stock alternator is 130A would this be fine? Could it be possible to get a battery with 1000 or more CCA which will do the same job as Optima or 16V??
