My buddy just got an MA Audio 15D6 as his first sub. He got it for 80 canadian dollars brand new, so it was a pretty smoking deal. It has dual 6 ohm voice coils, so we plan to run the thing at 3 ohms. As of now, he is just gonna use a prefab 15" sealed box.
I was wondering what amp you would reccommend. He plans to go ported within a few months, custom built box for the specific driver.
3 ohms is just such a bad impedence when working with only 1 woofer. The sub is 400 RMS 800 Peak.
He also wants to make it pretty inexpensive.
PS we live in Canada, if you know of anything in canada, it saves brokerage accross the border.
