LPF and HPF

low pass filter...

high pass filter...

for setting the range you want your sub to

play within...

if ported you need to set your

amp not to play too much below tuning

frequency... i believe you set it a half octave

below...

for the upper range usually most people

set between 50-80hz...

input sensitivity is how much power the

amp sends to the subs in relation to

how high your HU is... there is an

input sensitivity tutorial on JL audios

website and linked somewhere in these

forums...

yeah this is skeletal info...

Low pass filter set it to like 80hz it plays anything lower than 80hz (this is for subs)

High pass filter set it to like 80hz it plays anything above 80hz (this is for speakers)

so i want it to be set on LPF then. it's got a swtich to turn it to LPF and i think it had a little knob to adjust it too. Wat should i adjust it to? sorry i have so many questions, i just dont wanna blow my sub up. Also, my final question, do i want it on mono or stereo mode?
