Having heard both, I would go with the mag. the mag will definately get lower.

going under the rears seats in a ridgeline truck...15" mag = 8" mounting depth, i have 9" height clearance...

I havnt heard the BM's sealed tho, They'd be HELLA accurate and puncy though. But the mag will definately be lower, just give it a week or so after you get it. Thats how justin's was.

A total of 2cubes, including port? I know BM's need at least 2cubes per sub, might be around the same with the mag.
