Low Voltage??

So today my amp says on the screeen, "low voltage" and shuts down, then after a while switches back on and repeats this process randomly with random time intervals between shut off.

Check all the wires with a voltmeter when amp "powered down" and the meter read that even though the amp was "powered down" the wattage was the same for the power and remote cables.

So what the heck is going on here??

It's probably at a low coltage when the note hits. By the time u measure it it's back to normal.

Make sure ur battery is holding a good charge and u have a good enough electrical to support the amplifier and its demands.

thats the thing though...

Its played hard and low for a couple of months:thumbupw:. (i think it might be the remote cable behind the deck cause i was back in there puttng a ipod hookup on it, and knocked the remote loose)

I've got a double battery setup with an isolator for the two batteries, have had no problems yet:up2somet:, so i really dont think its the fact that the amp is not getting enough power, its pulling its juice off an optima, actually, could it be my gains because i also changed them the same day i put the ipod in. If i were to set it to high (like 10db) would that make it cut out??
