This is my definition of "low-end". This was the goal with this build.

Our van we're building w/(4) MT18's and 20,000rms in a 28.4cu^ft enclosure w/300sq^in tuned @ 34Hz will have low end, but nothing like the low end we've felt/heard in the past from our past builds. Why? Because the MT doesn't have the aspects of a low-end killer. It's far too stiff and doesn't have the xmax we need for it to have low-end w/authority.
So why pick the MT over say the new XXX15's? Because I enjoy a woofer that has moderate low-end with a wicked mid and high end range of the sub freq spectrum. I love the "baseball bat hit" in the back of the head when System of A Down in playing.
