I'm looking for a custom built ported box for my 97 Ford F150 single cab for two Solo Baric L7 12's. I know it can be done but I'm hoping someone on here can do it a little cheaper than the quote I got from a local guy. If all else fails I'll try it myself but I'd like someone who knows what they are doing to build it. If you are near the Baton Rouge area give me a holla!

you are still a pretty good ways off considering its almost a 6hr drive from here to monroe. Anyway the other guy wanted 450$ with carpet on the box or 420 without it. I think I'm going to end up building the box myself and just getting the kicker tech guys to help me out over the phone.

Just a wooden box, nothing special except the guy is pretty good at building ported boxes that hit really hard, and he wanted 425 without putting carpet on it. Thats about a 6.5ft^3 box with one big port coming out the side. I think I will do it myself, I would pay like 200 or 250 but 400-450, I'll figure it out myself.

My local shop made a custom box for the 12L's. The port was in the middle, and the subs on the side of it, still on the front of the box,The port was huge, but i never heard 2 12"s hit so hard! That was the first time i heard the L7's,Now i want to get some. But I think my Earthquake can take there 15L7.

Yea, I wanted to do that too where the speakers were right on each side of the centered port, but my problem is I dont think I have enough depth to tune the port properly if i do it like that. I guess I could make a 90 degree turn in it and have it coming out the front....would it be possible to have like a "T" shaped port? I dont know jack about this just wondering.

Originally posted by jmk076 I'm a computer draftsman, I just built a box to hold 4-10" Jensen XS1010 Subs to fit in my 2000 regular cab. If you send me the depth and dimensions of the subs I can make you a set of plans that would be pretty simple for you to build. If you want e-mail me @ tigerandkeri@aol.com. If you want to see the box I desighned log on to:

It costs about 1500.00 for the 3-d. You can get the version without 3-d for about 250.00

But you need alot of memory to run it. If you have a fairly new computer you can try to download it from morpheus.com for free.
