So guys, I think im gona run my Orion HCCA 10.2.. I took out all of my old set-up today and didnt realize how much trunk space I had till I took the two 12's out..lol..I was thinking about a 1cube sealed enclosure facing forward and sealed off from the trunk area.. Does this sound like the best set-up or should I think about doing some sort of ported set-up? I want something thats gona be good on music but still makes some spl..

Loudest speakers are DD, Kicker and a couple others that I can't think of. But making any 10" sub loud is mostly about the design of the enclosure along with power and a loud sub. But the enclosure does over 60% of the work.

My homeboy TommyK has a pretty loud single 10, 150.6 at the headrest.

Not to mention 151.2 in the kick and 145+ sealed on the dash.

The new box is peaking at 41, though that note needs to go up me thinks.

Old box did a 150.6 @ 43 hz with the car on.

New box did a 150.6 @ 41 hz with the car off. Car on was good for .3-.4

I would try a Btl 10 i am a huge fan.. But i am sure they will tell you a few more wat kinda power you got

Probably referring to the old BTL motors, which they still didn't make into 10's under normal circumstances.

Whats the loudest 10 (on music and will still get low) available? I want to do about 2cuft(or less)@34hz for daily. I'll have about 2.5K going to it. Budget is around 300 or less new or used. I'm putting it in a big car, so its got to be pretty loud

Ive did a 41 with a custom psi 10" in a 40hz box. Sub was 5.25 deep!!

Im sure with a deeper sup and correct enclosure you could get a mid 40 without a whole lot of testing. Especially with 2.5k

Hmm, I just dont think a 10" is gonna drop low like that and still be the "loud" your used to. Your gonna have to run a good bit cone area.
