The XXX isn't an spl sub, more of a heavy duty sq/sql sub. So if you're wanting spl, I'd say HCCA.

re xxx do not model well in small boxes from what i've seen

Sundown Nightshades do well in small boxes...about 1.5 cubes per 12''
