Louder? 3 12" L5's or 2 15" L5's

Why not do 1 15" L7 or 2 12" L7s or possibly 2 10" L7's? Can get them cheap on ebay.

i think with that power, 2 15" L7's would be way better than any kind of L5 configuration.

but that's just my opinion

everywhere i look 15" L7'S are $$$$.........like 280 a piece while i can get 15" cvr's for 98.00 a piece......i think 4 15" cvr's should be louder then 2 15" l7's no?

Sorry i must have missed it. But ya i agree with you. i used to have 2 12" L7's in a small sealed box and it wanged like no other, with 900watts to each.

Plus like i said they can be had for very cheap on ebay.

Plus 98x4 is almost 400. If you look you could get 2 L7's for that.

i'd do 2 15" l7's over CVR's any day

i had 2 12" l7s in a 6 cube box tuned to 33 htz....man did that wang... i cant imagine what the 15" l7's would be like

that depends on what kind of box you put either of them in

CVR's and l7's are about equal when it comes to SQ

tune them low and you'll get some decent SQ out of either setup.

A lot of people don't think L7's have SQ but when done in the proper enclosure they have good SQ. There is a person out there right now with i think a 10" L7 and they win SQ comps all the time.
