Louder? 3 12" L5's or 2 15" L5's

:do you know how to find the area of a circle?? i guess not?

We are taking about square woofers by the way. But ya that was a horrible attempt to find surface area of a cone by the other dude.

A square subs area is RIDICULOUSLY easy to find out.

ok here's another thing im considering and need help with, i found 15" kicker cvr's for 98.00 american, now what if i did 4 of these?......so 4 15" cvr's vs 3 12" L5'S or 2 15" L5'S.....yeah i know the cvr are only 500rms each but with my amp doing 2000rms i could run 4 of those 15's.....what you think?

you would need to give up a lot of room to properly fit four 15's...

4 15" cvrs... not too far behind the l5s so 4 would be good and loud. friend has 2 of them in a expedition in a sealed box and it gets loud.

a kid at my school has 2 15 CVR's and a kicker 1200.1 and omg i still have not heard anything louder. it beats my friends 2 12 L5's with a 1200.1 and all the spring breakers who think that their system is badass... i can hear him all the way across my school when he pulls up in the parking lot thats how loud that shit is. its in the back of a cherokee

I'm not getting how 2 15's have more cone area than 3 12's...2*15=30 3*12=36???
