Loud trunk ???s

assuming current box is a slot port then make a "temp" reducer to lower port tuning and see if that helps.

My set up is 41Hz and around 36Hz with the reducer which is low tuning for AQ's. Hair tricks are no problem, but it's a wall. Trunk set up won't be so easy, but can be done...

Im at 38 hertz now and i can drop it down to 30, after that the port would be too long to just add in.

If you are low on space and need to detune, then get RID of the port ENTIRELY. (And polyfill the hell out of the box)

Give that a shot and see what happens. Just remember that hair tricks out of a trunk aren't that easy...

You remember my 9515g in the trunk wall? it had a massive audio p3000.1 and ended up with a 147.7legal.. not bad for 1 speaker in the trunk.. ur not gunna get that 18 to face forward.. maybe move the box back ane port towards the cabin.. at30-32hz
