I have no idea why anyone would mention a RL-p comparitivly

to the L7 or the Mags RL-p is not a loud sub esp sealed

I would say go with the mags or the rlp. I have heard both sealed and ported. Out of those 2 I would say mag. I wont even comment on the l7 sealed, lol!

It has more linear displacement than an L7, and just as much as a Mag. It will get louder than an L7 and just as loud as a Mag.

bottom line people... mag wins 1 one of those babies sealed is louder then both of my type-rs with 500w less... insane to say the least.... and for real... listen to squeak he knows his shit *notices post count* i dont care what i think i know if he says im wrong i prolly am and so are you! so dont be so stubborn people have a nice day

I haven't heard and rl-p but i heard a mag in a sealed box and man that was amazing sqwise and lots of output

Bottom line if you want loud sealed is displacement. Get a sub with alot of cone area and linear displacement (xmax) and you'll be good to go. Personally Id be looking at a used brahma or xxx, W7 or IDMax's. Ive seen/heard some very sweet systems running 2-3 IDMax's, and of course the brahma/xxx/W7 setups would sound great as well.

My RL-p gets quite loud sealed with only ~450 watts. But its the SQ of the driver that really makes it shine. I wish I had about 300 more watts for it, but its already loud enough for me right now.
