Hello, I am looking for a set of components that is loud but has great SQ as well. I listen to pretty much everything, with the majority being rap/ hiphop/ R&B. I was looking at the JBL C608GTi set but heard that dont sound very good. The amp to go with whatever components i get will be a alpine MRP F550 and the rest of the system is 2 kicker 15" L7's with a kicker ZX1500.1 amp. Also does anyone know of any places around the Chicago land area that have a pretty good selection of component speakers where i could go to listen to what some of these sound like? i knew of tweeter but they went out of buisness! I am willing to spend up to $500 on a set of components as i am just getting the fronts.
