I'd get a bigger amp and try that first.

But as for speakers... RSD are hard to beat under $100... but since they are hard to find... Cerwin Vega V-Max 65 are a step up and from the same designer (many speakers are outsourced and designed by other contracted consultant companies)... $155 shipped from onlinecarstereo.com

Edit: OCS does not have them now... sonicelectronix.com does.
