Never ran the Alesis, but it does look like it would have nice midbass since the cone seems pretty rigid. But one problem is that it is very deep, so you might have a problem fitting it.

The tweets are very nice, but also very big. I've never heard the RSD tweets, but i'll tell you that these sound very nice and smooth. And you can cross them real low also since they're HT tweets.
