I would think. hammering it out with a chisle. Welding a nut on it, Plasma, Torch. Would harm more then just going and get a lug nut removel tool.ok ill say it again. weld a bolt on the end. otherwise, your probably gonna ruin more than the lug nut. most shops do that if they dont have the keys.
Where you at in maryland. Ive been lookin for some bomb *** 15" VW wheels.what kind of car? is it vw? they have factory locks with the spline on the inside, ran into this the other day, the dealership had a master set and took them off, then you can either order a key, a whole lock and key set which they have in stock, or put in stock nuts, we put in stock nuts, who the **** steals 15" vw wheels anyways

I guess you get what you pay for. Never had a problem with the ones I have. Been useing them for over 8 years now. I'll have to get the part # from snapon. I know sears sells the same kit.I had 4 on my truck, 1 on each wheel. And it was a cheap one so the shit stripped out. I had to weld a nut onto each lock nut to get them off. Worked fine and didnt hurt anything.
