Lost installation instructions Sony 10 disc changer

[Confused Luke]

I have an older Sony 10 disc changer model CDX-530RF... had it installed in another car, sold that car- changer sat in garage for 3 years, decided to reinstall it in new car.... only problem is I lost the instructions.

Black ground wire= chassis ground

Remote display head= duh

RF output= antenna input to head unit.

Red= ????

Yellow=????

I don't remember which one is powered continually and which one is powered when the key is in the ACC position. One had a 3 amp inline fuse and the other has a 1 amp inline... so logic says the 1 amp is for holding memory (constant 12V) and 3 amp is only when operating. Can someone enlighten me?

i belive yellow is constant & red is switched

Yellow is constant. Red is switched. usually.

If it doesnt work out. swap them.

Just so everyone knows- yellow appears to be constant and red appears to be switched... and it appears to work correctly.. Thanks again, Luke
