that shit is so stolen, and he was probly a newbie to running systems and cut the harness right up next to the plug. i have seen it done before. and hell i wouldnt care about my hu after the hurricane i would care about my family and friends.

While this situation you've related to us does absolutely reek of underhanded dealings I'll simply say this:

If your story is legitimate and you and yours really lost everything to Katrina like millions of other unfortunate souls you will be in my prayers. It might be more prudent to see to getting other things sorted out besides mobile A/V gear, though....

its so focking obvious, sorry but this guy is full of sh!t, liek the guy said before, he prob cut it at the wiring harness and so he needs a new one. And he needs a new faceplate because the owner of the headunit that she jacked it from had it with him at the time. The two biggest clues of theft are right here... and the fact he made up this story makes it more obvious, sorry god forbid but if that happened to me i could give a fock less about my headunit, i would care about my friends and family and everything else that was lost (like he said they lost everything)
