Losing fade a big deal?

I just talked to my installer today because I was getting my new speakers installed. He said I would lose fade control, I asked if it was a big deal, and he said not really. Is this true? How will this affect the quality of my music?

He said my truck had to many EQ problems with the OEM interface I am putting in.

I am having him install a ZR 650 in the front and a the C5-650 in the rear powered by a 400/4 amp

Fade front to back, not a big deal. A lot of guys on here that are SQ oriented dont even run rear speakers, and if they do they will leave them turned off unless some one is sitting in the back seat.
