ive got a kenwood mp-338 headunit (one in sig) and it has 2 sets of preouts on the back, one for subwoofer and one labled rear. ive had a sub amp wired to it for a while now, on on the deck it gives me an option of choosing either subw, or rear for my preout. i want to wire another amp to power my components on, but it only gives me the options on my HU to run either the subwoofer preout or rear, not both

anyway i can wire this so i can use my sub amp and my other amp?

wow.. thats weird.. if you do a splitter wouldnt that mean that you will control both amps from the deck at the same time? if so, I wouldnt recomend that. It has to be a way to have both on at the same time. look on the manual

alright, so maybe you're right maybe it does say front

so i have the ones for the sub-w/rear.. then the front one, so 2 preouts

i can run my component amp off the "front" preout and my subs off the sub/rear preout and i wont have to do anything different? and what if i run a 4 channel amp? just use RCA splitter for the front preouts?
