Looking for new amp.

Running a 15" Kicker L7 at 1ohm. I want to run around 1000-1700rms daily. I know they are rated around 1000rms, but I think this woofer can handle it. I had it running daily (BXI1606D on a healthy electrical system, not perfect, upped alt) and it didn't even sweat it.

Good luck powering Kicker' over the RMS... hope they last longer but I have a feeling its not the power your lacking, most of the time people think their subs/speakers needs 'more power" and really its either there is something a mis in the setup, rather its location, acustics of the ride, the box, the box, the box, the box..

I understand where you are coming from. I'm a risk taker haha. Only thing is.. can't beat that price for an amp its a lil excessive I know.

Also I'm looking at that 1200D. IS it underrated and how much is that one?

EDIT: NM found the price list. **** that is a good price.. How would that Aq 1200D pair up to the Hifonics BXi1606d I had??

get the aq22000d and adjust gains its always better 2 have excess power but hey if u blow the l7 whats the worst thats going to happen, now u can actually buy a good sub that can take 2000rms easy

First time we agree on something. L7's are garbage. I'd rather let a train run over my nutsack than run an L7.
