Looking for an amp

don't need a 2 channel, nice mono amp will do fine. post budget and vc of the subs. i might have a bnib sundown sae1000d for sale.
Ohh dang lol I thoguht was one of the few things I knew. If im gettin 2 subs they can run on a mono amp. Let me know thanks. And how much would the amp be that your selling.

What model Crunch amp?

Be aware that most of the Crunch units have a tendency to fall somewhat short of rated output.

Ergo - the 1500.1 has been reportedly benchtested to output just shy of 1.3kW @ 1 Ohm rather than the rated 1.5kW.

Still a good bargain for the money, mind you, but not quite up to the task of providing rated wattage. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Well - let's say for the sake of argument that you do get the 1000.1 which has a rated output of 1kW @ 1 Ohm, correct? (If I'm mistaken please someone provide more accurate info here)

Taking into account that the claim of 1,000w @ 1 Ohm is going to be a bit optimistic we'll further assume towards the low side just to be safe and figure on getting around 800w out of it at a 1 Ohm load (did you order the Dual 4 Ohm CVRs or the Dual 2s?)

If you bought the Dual 4 Ohm models and can wire them parallel/parallel to a 1 Ohm load and feed them that 800w since the CompVR 12" is rated for 400w RMS it's a perfect match. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

Sure CVRs will take a bit more than their RMS rating might lead you to believe but feeding them their exact RMS input rating will get them moving for you juuuust fine. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

J31Rob and connersdad ~ while both of your suggestions are sound ones (my preference naturally being the Diamond unit) I believe they are going to both be somewhere outside of the OP's planned budget. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
