Looking for an amp to compliment a kicker 15" CVR

Im looking for a solid, relatively cheap amp thats gonna push my 15" CVR. Ill be building both a ported and sealed enclosure to see which i like better, but want your suggestions on both the amp and the type/size of box i should use with it. I cant spend a lot, but if you guys could tell me about your setups with this sub, it would be appreciated and help me out.

btw, how are the eclipse amps? Underrated? overrated? I was thinking of the xa1000 ... does 640 @ 2 ohms ... was wondering if that was actual or max ... thanks!

I have two of the CVR 15s in a vented box tuned to 32hz. I cant think of how big the box is off the top of my head. But its pretty good size.

I love the way mine sound vented.
