Looking for an amp, sub w/box and wiring combo

Hi,

A friend wants me to install a small amp, bandpass box with 10 inch sub, rca's and power wire, etc for $300 or less.

Anyone know of any decent combos for that price? I can build a box or we can get a prefab at a local shop.

I would definitely look for used equipment to save money and get better products. It is doable I put a system in my fiancee's car with:

used phoenix gold xenon 400.1 $100

custom 10" sub $140

box $50

wiring: $25

Not exactly $300 but gives you an example of what you can do, you could always pick up a cheaper sub and save money that way. Kicker compvr's can be had for cheap and are good budget subs.

Since you know so much about the flea market, could you give me some specific equipment suggestions? Otherwise, you are not helping.

just get a kicker comp their 50 bucks on woofersetc. i had 2 of them running at their rms rating in a sealed and they sounded great. perfect beginner budget system.

you can find a amp that puts out 150-200 @4 for cheap all day long online.

When it comes to budget equipment, you have tons of options. Good budget subs are RE RE's, RE SR's, kicker CVR's, Kenwood KFC's......

good budget amps are kenwood, hifonics, power acoustic (are slightly overrated though).

basically you can get out with the total system wiring kit, bandpass box, re audio 12" sub and you wiring kit for about $230.90 plus shipping which will be around $300

you cant get much better than that and all the stuff is new and re audio and us amps are two of the best companies out there & qpower boxes are great boxes
