Looking for an amp. 1-2krms at 4ohms

What would be my best option? I have a 12" Soundsplinter RL-s, and I want to run at least 1,000rms to it. It's a single 3ohm sub. I would like to keep it under $400, but if need be, I can afford the extra. What do you guys think the RF T20001bd will do at 3-4ohms? I really like that amp, but if I can find better for the price, I'll consider it.

Id look into Phoenix Gold 1200. does 1200 watts @ 1-2-4 ohms......

Or maybe a JL 1000/1 if you find one cheap. It too does 1kw from 1-4 if I remember correctly.

Phoenix gold Xenon to be exact. Or perhaps a really big 2ch. and run that bridged

Saw a viper 2500D in the classifieds before, those should give you enough power at 4. Kicker kx2500 also pop up occasionally

yes indeed.. then youll have enough watts to play with for a upgrade later down the road.

I can get a used kx2500.1 right now for fairly cheap. Is the PG X1200.1 as good as people claim? I like the amp, I just don't like the price tag.

if you can get the kicker for cheaper or the same price then i say go for it. No point in spending money on the amp that makes less power when they are both of high quality.
